Who doesn’t love the rainy season?  It brings lots of skin allergies, foodborne diseases etc. The urge to binge on eating fried food is a nightmare for a lot of people as well as for me. During this time all we want to do is relax in our bed watching TV with some hot plate of fried snacks like Samosas, kachodi, pakodas but what we don’t take care is they cause gastronomical complications like bloating and stomach upset. I would strongly suggest you guys stay away from street food this month because it might cause you a severe infection. In this time, you gain a lot of weight and this can be very bad for your skin and for your health.

  • Don’t eat heavy food no matter how irresistible they look. Humid monsoon tends to cause our digestion process to slow down. We face Gas, acidity, indigestion and many other skin related problems.
  • For skin, a splash of COLD water in the morning is very important. It soothes your eyes. Cold water tightens your skin, it slowdowns your aging process. Washing face with cold water has an amazing benefit, it cleans our skin much better.
  • GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES are a big NO in this season because they have excess bacteria during this period. Eating this kind of veggies can cause you major diseases.
  • Fizzy drinks reduce minerals in our body, it leads to a reduction in enzyme activity. (Fizzy drinks harmful for teeth).
  • Don’t let the rains make you lazy. Step out of your bed and don’t miss your workout, exercise is the only thing which will help you to build your confidence to avoid those junks and keeping yourself fit.
  • Also, if you wish to drink fresh fruit juice from roadside vendors you are making a big mistake because roadside vendors tend to cut their fruits well in advance and these fruits come in contact with the contaminated air. Fresh juice is great as long as it is made at home.
