” The wound is the place where the Light enters you.”

                                                                                                          ~ Rumi

For years I have been running away from myself until the lockdown happened. The past year was indeed an eye-opener, and that’s when my journey began.

I’m grateful for the lockdown, it might sound insane, but my sanity was challenged in this very period. The lockdown was successful in thrashing away the escapism, which I was accustomed to.

For the past 7 years, I’ve been carrying baggage and  I didn’t even know I had clinical depression until the beginning of last year. Then and there, I decided to take it on.

In the process of coming out, I was not looking for sympathy,  but certainly, I had a longing that people around me shall relate their journeys to me.

I just wanted people to understand that, if I can sail across, they can, too. The other has to understand that whatever state they’re in, nobody can get them out. All that an individual needs is just a conviction that “they can come out”.

That’s all you need. The first step that you needed to take, has already been taken.

Healing is an everyday approach, and it does not mean that we ignore the wounds of the act as if they never existed. It just means that we have accepted them with open arms and are no longer allowing them to control our lives.

To understand yourselves better, an individual requires an acknowledgment of his existence, thoughts, feelings, and things around them.

When you’re in pain, everything seems going to an Abyss and an individual starts blaming people around for the things that have happened to them

On some days healing will look like drowning and on some, you’ll float. On some days you’ll feel broken and be a crying mess, you’ll feel renewed.

To heal, you need to understand every inch of your soul. For the body dies and decays, but the soul is eternal. Every time a soul takes birth in a new body, it has to go through life lessons that it didn’t understand in the previous births.

The universe gives you the number of things that you are capable of handling. So, It’s not your fault, stop cursing yourselves.

Yes, mistakes have been made by everyone. What one can do is prevent themselves from repeating the same mistake. It’s a high time we start owning our mistakes, and not play the card of victims.

As Rumi said,” that the wound is the place where the light enters you”.

If it wasn’t for the pain, individuality could not have blossomed.

We have wounds that have damaged us beyond repair, at least that’s what many of us think. That my friend is not talking about substance. Every problem has a solution and every wound has to heal. With time, yes of course.

As time flies, Life goes on, we also need to move along with it. As they say, there’s always light at the end of the tunnel. But I believe that the light is just an absence, you ought to provide it a chance so that it can shine.

People will stoop you down to their level Though the steering wheel of your life lies in your own hands. People’s perception of the other is just a reflection of themselves.

One of the best signs of your growth is seeing oneself, no longer worried or bothered by people and things that once trembled the edifice.

Just keep an account of your energy and try to channelize it in a better way. If one is low on energy, take a break from the rigmarole to recharge themselves. Start respecting your energy, and stop chasing people who don’t resonate with you.

Being calm about things allows one’s mind to find solutions. Instead of overthinking and overreacting, one can surrender for the moment and allow calmness to take over.

One feels unsettled, as they are meant for so much more. So get out of your beds, stop feeling bad about yourself, stop worrying about what the future holds. Just start!

Remember everyone has their journey to go through and this one is yours.
