Technology has for sure given us many reasons to stay alive happy on this planet.  The one thing that has made our survival easy on the internet is definitely “Memes”. The internet is filled with funny, interesting memes that is making social media more alive and happy.

And if you are one among those who pronounce Meme as May May or Meemee,  please don’t read any further, you won’t enjoy reading it. We are almost halfway through 2019 and the Meme game has been strong on the internet so far. Be it the famous Anushka Sharma’s Sui Dhaga meme or the JCB ki Khudai meme,  the internet was filled with the hilarious memes this year.

If a meme can be made on the historic image of a blackhole then how can the yawning image of Pakistan’s captain Sarfaraaz restrain itself from being the viral meme. The world cup tournament gave us some really funny and memorable memes to take along for the whole year. The most trending one is the meme of a Pakistani fan expressing disappointment over Pakistan’s batting against Australia. The meme became the talk of the internet and during the match of Pakistan against New Zealand, many fans were witnessed wearing T-shirts that featured the face of that fan. People started chilling more after Chahal’s chilling scene going viral on the internet as a meme. And the viral burger pizzey rant of a Pakistani fan was also the funniest meme for the internet.

Memes have become necessary for social networking sites. In Fact many companies are trying their best to become a meme and go viral on the internet.  If it helps them in brand positioning than why not. The question here arises how strong a meme game can be? Well it can be strong enough to get a reply from the US Air Force. Here I am talking about the recent viral memes on ‘Area 51′. Well if you are still not able to crack the memes, you need to know a little bit of history.

The area 51 has been a hub of speculation and conspiracy since 1989. In a television interview, Bob Lazar, a physicist working in area 51 claimed that he took apart a UFO and read documents which directed the involvement of aliens on Earth. The area has been formally recognized as a spy plane testing site which is conservative and no one is allowed to enter that space.

The viral memes of area 51 are the result of a Facebook event created as ‘Storm Area 51, They can’t stop all of us’. The event indicated to meet up at Area 51 on September 20, 2019 at 3:00am to see the aliens. Since then almost a million people have shown interest in the event and conversation developed to make maps and directions to reach at the site and witness the alien. The memes picked up speed and became viral on the internet.

The plan to storm Area 51 became so popular that the US Air Force had to respond it by telling that “Any attempt to illegally access the military installations or military training area is dangerous”. This justifies that the memes are becoming a serious thing on the internet.

Memes are the social ideas that are spreading primarily with the intent to make people laugh. The important aspect of meme is its infectious nature, it invites people to spread it. And unless and until the memes are not spreading hate or misconceptions, I don’t think there’s anything wrong in it. So, make your meme game strong by sharing funny and hilarious memes.
